As a trusted partner, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has awarded ATSSA multi-year grants in 2006, 2011, 2013, and 2016 to provide roadway safety training nationwide for workers and others who make their livelihood on America's roadways. Since 2006, approximately 80,000 workers have been trained in a variety of ATSSA roadway safety training courses at an extremely low cost and have also been given access to a wide range of invaluable and informative products at no cost.

BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR
ATSSA provides education and instruction to new and existing flagger instructors who teach flagger skills and facilitate learning experiences. Flagger instructors are certified and demonstrate core competencies appropriate to flagger and work zone environments.
FIND A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL
The training and certification database is a centralized resource to find qualified road workers and verify training certifications. ATSSA has trained more than 300,000 professionals in the road safety infrastructure industry, and more than 10,000 have received ATSSA certification.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL FOR UTILITY OPERATORS
Coming in 2020, ATSSA will be offering an online version of our training course specifically for utility operations temporary traffic control. This information-packed course follows Part 6 of the MUTCD and can be completed in 4 hours.
