Workforce Development
Ensuring that ATSSA member companies and the roadway safety industry recruit and retain talented workers is a top ATSSA priority. Along with local and national partners, ATSSA is paving the way to a stronger industry workforce.
Putting people on the path toward success
ATSSA and FailSafe-ERA have partnered to establish the Right Road Job Training and Placement Program to help qualified returning citizens receive the training and job resources they need to put them on a path to success in temporary traffic control.
The partnership first started at ATSSA’s 49th Annual Convention & Traffic Expo in Tampa, Fla. with a contract signing. The 10th Year "Center for Hope" Fundraiser Gala was held on Aug. 24, 2019 in Fredericksburg, Va. and featured Associate Director Marcus Hodges of the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, Mayor Mary Katherine Greenlaw of the City of Fredericksburg, and Vice President of Member Services Donna Clark of ATSSA.
