Participation Requirements
When registering for training, please make sure the email address used belongs to the student taking the course. The student’s unique email address is required to provide access to the training course, provide any technical assistance, and give them credit for attendance.
A computer or laptop must be used for online courses. ATSSA online training is not currently compatible with tablets or mobile devices.
Upon Completion
A laminated flagger certification card will be mailed to those who pass the course. A temporary completion certificate can be printed immediately.
State Acceptance
The ATSSA Online Flagger Course is not accepted on state projects in the following states: CO, FL, GA, IA, ID*, IL, MA, MN, MS, MT, NC**, NE, NJ, NV, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN***, TX, UT, VA & WA. Please visit our Course Information page or contact the ATSSA office for ATSSA Flagger training classes scheduled near you.
*The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is now accepting ATSSA’s Online Flagger Training through Oct. 7, 2020. Read the ITD Memo.
**Online flagger training is accepted in NC for recertification only.
